OJQ “Durmish Aslano”, u formua në vitin 1969, si shoqëri kulturo aritisike nga intelektualët romë. Afro 50 vjetë ndihmoi për promovipin e kulturës rome dhe mbrotjes e saj në forma të ndryshme. Durmish Aslano, mbas konflikti të parë në Kosovë, në vitin 2001, u regjitrua si OJQ, e cila ka dy departamente: Teatrin Rom “Nexhip Menekshe” dhe radion “Romano Avazo. OJQ “Durmish Aslano”, ka harmonizuar statusin e sajë me qëllimet e veta :

1. Promovimit të kulturës, traditës dhe gjuhës Rome.

2. Informim adekuat në gjuhën Rome. (MEDIA)

3. Fuqëzimin e të rinjëve dhe angazhimin e tyre për qytetari active.

4. Promovimin dhe respektimin e barazis gjinore.

5. Mirëqenia sociale e komunitetit Rom.

6. Edukimin kulturor.

Teatri Rom “Nexhip Menekshe”, është I formuar  në vitin 1989, 30 vjet është nën ombrellën  e OJQ-së “Durmish Aslano. Emrin i teatrit është marrë nga dramaturgu shumëvjecar tani më i ndjerë z.Nexhip Menekshe, i cili ishte ish drejtori i OJQ-së “Durmish Aslano”. Në këto 30 vjetë ka qenë fabrikë e aktivistëve romë dhë djepë për promovimin dhe mbrotjen e gjuhës romë, kulutrës dhe tradiës. Teatri Rom “Nexhip Menekshe”, në skenë cdo herë ka vënë pytjet e komunitetit rom, problemet rutinë, përmes perfomancave është bërë avokimë për problematiakat e komuniteteit. Deri më tani, teatri rom “Nexhip Menekshe”, ka pasur më shumë se 500 perfomanva dhe më shumë se 20 këtyre shfaqjeve janë shkruara nga autorët romë, në krye me dramaturgun z.Nexhip Menekshe.  Radio “Romano Avazo”, është departamenti tjeter i OJQ-së, I cili ka qëllim për promovimin e gjuhës përmes radios, dhe është I vetmi radio i cili ka 20 orë program në gjuhën rome. Radio “Romano Avazo”, nuk është radio komercial, aj ne planprogramin e tije trajton tema debatuese të cilët lidhën  me problemet e komuniteteve Rom, Ashkali dhe Egjiptas, në komunën e Prizrenit dhe avokojn për përmisin e këtyre politikave. Ai u hap në vitin 2007 dhe funskionin nën ombrellën e OJQ-së “Durmish Aslano”.

The Durmish Aslano NGO was formed in 1969 as an arithmetic cultural society by Roma intellectuals. For nearly 50 years it helped to promote Roma culture and its protection in various forms. Durmish Aslano, after the first conflict in Kosovo, in 2001, was registered as an NGO, which has two departments: the Roma Theater "Nexhip Menekshe" and the radio "Romano Avazo. The NGO "Durmish Aslano" has harmonized its status with its goals:

1. Promotion of Roma culture, tradition and language.

2. Adequate information in Romani. (MEDIA)

3. Empowering young people and their commitment to active citizenship.

4. Promoting and respecting gender equality.

5. Social welfare of the Roma community.

6. Cultural education.

The Roman Theater "Nexhip Menekshe" was formed in 1989, 30 years under the umbrella of the NGO "Durmish Aslano. The name of the theater was taken from the now deceased longtime playwright Mr. Nexhip Menekshe, who was the former director of the NGO "Durmish Aslano". In these 30 years, it has been a factory of Roma activists and a cradle for the promotion and protection of the Roma language, culture and tradition. The Roma Theater "Nexhip Menekshe" has always put on the stage the questions of the Roma community, the routine problems, through the performances it has become an advocacy for the problems of the communities. So far, the Roma theater "Nexhip Menekshe" has had more than 500 performances and more than 20 of these plays have been written by Roma authors, led by playwright Mr. Nexhip Menekshe. Radio "Romano Avazo" is the other department of the NGO, which aims to promote the language through radio, and is the only radio that has 20 hours of programming in the Roma language. Radio "Romano Avazo" is not a commercial radio, in its curriculum it deals with debating topics which related to the problems of the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities in the municipality of Prizren and advocates for the improvement of these policies. It opened in 2007 and operates under the umbrella of the NGO Durmish Aslano.
