Kosovo's Hydrometeorological Institute (IHMK) has reported that continuous rainfall over recent days has caused local flooding in several areas of the country.
Western regions—including Gjakova, Junik, Deçan, Malisheva, and Kline—as well as central parts of the country have been most affected, with some rivers and streams overflowing their banks.
According to IHMK, the rains—varying in intervals and intensity—are expected to continue in the coming days. This could lead to local flooding, traffic disruptions, road difficulties, and issues with drainage systems.
