Deputy Defense Minister Ejup Maqedonci announced that Kosovo received the latest shipment of OMTAS anti-tank missile systems today, contracted in December 2023 with Turkish state producer Roketsan.

OMTAS neutralizes modern tanks with reactive armor and military fortifications, enhancing the Kosovo Security Force's operational flexibility.

This delivery forms part of the long-term plan to modernize the army according to NATO standards, covering various ranges, terrains, and threat scenarios.
