The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation (MAShTI) has postponed the start of classes until January 12, 2026, due to heavy rains and floods that have disrupted traffic in most municipalities.

Classes will resume on Monday, January 12. Missed hours will be made up during the 2025/2026 school year. MAShTI thanks parents, students, and teachers for their cooperation, emphasizing safety as the top priority.
