Emergency teams contracted by the Public Services Directorate and the Emergencies and Security Directorate in Prizren have been continuously deployed in the most affected areas from the heavy rainfall on January 5, 6, and 7, 2026.

These torrential rains have caused local flooding, traffic disruptions, and sewage issues, requiring full deployment of resources to assist citizens in the hardest-hit settlements.

The teams' engagement will continue to manage the situation and support residents. Prizren Municipality assures that safety and prompt assistance remain the top priority amid the harsh weather conditions.
