The first official meeting of the Roma community with the local institutions of the municipality of Prizren was held in the Assembly of the Municipality of Prizren, with simultaneous translation into the Roma language, organized by the NGO “Durmish Aslano”. ๐
“Harmony of Diversity โ The Importance of the Proclamation of the Roma Language in the Background of Multiculturalism in the Assembly of Prizren” was our topic, and the meeting provided an equivalent platform for essential discussions on the importance of the Roma language, starting from the historical part and going to the current moment. ๐ฃ๏ธ The cooperation of the ADHOC group with the municipality of Prizren, the European Union and the Office of the Commissioner for Languages were an integral part of achieving the goals, emphasizing the importance of coordination and active collaborations in the promotion of cultural diversity. ๐
